Another fairly busy day today. Changing some trousers at M. & S. and then going to help daughter choose a new bed. Baptism prep class tonight.


I may, just may, get an hour to sit down somewhere along the line..... ;-)

He will be back tonight cos we have the girls just now.

O been up through the night sore ear and high temperature. She fell asleep on way here and asked to go to grans bed.

Slept for an hour and is lots better now just going to make lunch.

Poor little 'O' !!! :-(

Just made me think - did she ever get that appointment with an ENT Consultant or are you still waiting for it ?

Still waiting on him coming he did send me a text to say he is still working on town and would finish about 8.30pm then will come to us :-|


O got her booster vaccinations yesterday so think that might have contributed to her temperature.

Dea still waiting for appointment for ENT. I asked yesterday and it can take up to 12 weeks she said they don't contact you till nearer the appointment date :-S

O was manic today what a difference between morning and afternoon :-D

I am totally shattered.

Obviously no-one around much lately.....I will, however, provide a small breakfast.

Bacon barm cakes for Dea - with a side helping of mushrooms, tomatoes and hash browns.


Eggy bread for Gins.


I've had some grapefruit which was rather nice. Hope everyone gets their problems sorted...leaks fixed etc....

I have had 3 days of not knowing if I am coming or going and today may be similar but not quite as hectic. Taking my son to see the consultant re his back problem this afternoon. oh the joys!!!

Heating guy came out this morning replaced a manifold?? and found another small leak. His phone was going non stop (he was late to get back to the job he was working on last night) so he is coming back at 4pm to check everything is ok :-|

Didn't make it out last night came at 8.15 this morning (small miracle) had to leave to get back to the job he is working on :-S

Said he would be back at 4pm no show so I sent him a text should be out by 5pm....

I honestly do not know how they make a profit if all their jobs are like mine :-(

Dea I wish I could get your son to fix it :-(

Lesson learned.....don't have friends/family 'do' work on the house

Son is, hopefully, to have an op on his back to fuse two discs together. When this will be, we don't know - there is a waiting list. sigh........

As for the pain, the consultant will have a word with the GP about some alternative medication. It's a sciatic type pain - from the back, through the hip and down the leg. I hate to see him hobbling around because he is normally such an active guy. :-( Hey ho.....on we go :-D

I am hoping to get a brief walk with OH in this morning. This week has been manic and I seem to have been here, there and everywhere. Roll on normality!
