I've only just come across your message. I know of no Carrotts in Southampton from my family line. As far as I can trace back we come from Lincolnshire. Although there's a good sprinkling all over now. I've just been in touch with a Ian Carrott in West Sussex where there may be a connection. I'll let you know how I get on.

CARROTT OF SOUTHAMPTON. My name is Elizabeth Caroline Ann Burnett. I was adopted By Mr Geoff Graham Baird and Mrs Molley Josephine Baird (Formally Millard) My pre adoption name was Caroline Ann Carrott, i was born in Southampton on 10th March 1963... I am hoping to find members of the Carrott family of southampton, as believe i have brothers and possibly sisters that i would dearly love to get in contact with... Both My adopted parents have passed away now and now feel its time to retrace my family blood line, if there is anyone out there that would possibly know of someone with the surname Carrott please mention this request to them to see if they know anything about me... and encourage them to get in touch with me... I have 3 children of my own now too, and they would also love to know more about there mums background... Thank you for your kind help.. liz Burnett
