Still born child.

Hi. I am looking for a still born un named child in the records. About 1943 in London. Family name Davis. Any help welcome. Ted.

If it's your child, or your parents' child, then you can access the GRO's stillbirths register, but not otherwise. You might find a cemetery record for the child, though.

In the UK, that will be listed in the stillbirth register at GRO ............... however .........................


The UK stillborn register is not available to the public on any web site.

This is information that only the parents, OR the stillborn child's siblings after the death of both parents, are privy to. In the event of the death of both parents then death certificates must be shown for both parents as proof of right to view.
