Please can I ask if anyone is able to confirm (or otherwise!) that the name of the bride is Sarah rather than Susan? I am also wondering if one of the witnesses is Ann Cox.

Birmingham, England, Marriages and Banns, 1754-1937 about Isaac Standley
Name: Isaac Standley
Gender: Male
Marriage Date: 22 Dec 1823
Marriage Place: Birmingham, St Martin, Warwickshire, England
Spouse: Susan Cox
Spouse Gender: Female
Reference Number: DRO 34
Archive Roll: M113

Many thanks.

Looks more like Sarah than Susan

It says the mark of Sarah Cox

Not sure about the name of the witness

I would agree with GlitterBaby.

The middle letter of the bride's name does not look like the S in Isaac or on the end of banns....and Yes..it notes mark of Sarah.

Witness could well be Ann.....all 'short' letters after capital to start.

Thanks very much Gins. I was taking a bit of a leap with the marriage, on the basis that how many Isaac Standleys married to a Sarah in Birmingham can there be!
I had the 1841 census, but never picked up on the Perry link, so that does confirm it doesn't it.
That's brilliant, thanks again.
