Please can anyone advise me how to get a death certificate for someone who died in Amsterdam 1935?

Hello David- I don't have experience of ordering from Amsterdam. However, this website says that for deaths prior to 1955 you need to contact the Amsterdam City Archives:

http://www.iamsterdam.com/en-GB/living/official-matters/documents-certificates/request-certificates.

Try e-mailing them at:

E-mail from Amsterdam City Archives site: http://stadsarchief.amsterdam.nl/english/practical_information/contact/index.en.html
