Anyone have any info on a Paul Francis St Julien - he was born in Charlston South Carolina in America around 1860 and came over to England where he married an Emma Louise Dennison and had several children with in South Shields.

His father was apparently also Paul Francis St Julien and also born around 1835 in Charlston South Carolina but I have no idea who his parents were or who he married, so any info would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

Hi thanks for all your replies! I was ill so couldn't reply till now - the info you've found is great! Though I've now found another relative that even went to South Carolina and seriously looked into it and she believes that Paul Francis junior actually faked his identity as there were so many inconsistencies and stories that fell apart as records did not back them up - all she knows for sure is that he was from South Carolina and met the living relations of the man she believes he was and there was apparently many family resemblences etc... so....that's how it has turned out!! I suppose they would only know if they tested their dna to prove it!
