Anyone know how to add record sets that require additional payment to platinum membership? Can you only do this when you renew the annual subscription?

It can be done at any time. If reduced prices are showing it is because you are part-way through your subscription year.

Do you have an 'upgrade' button at the top of the screen? If so, try that.

No, I don't have an upgrade button either on the home screen, or the subscription details screen, so at the moment I am stumped. Anyone else any ideas?

How about.............search for something that isn't included in the Platinum Sub. Click to view a result. See if it asks if you want to upgrade.

Failing that, Inky may come back later and can give more detailed instructions

Only platinum members can add the four extra record sets - newspapers, parish records, military and travel/overseas.

If you are a platinum member then ADD FEATURES should be at the top of your screen

Gifts• Add Features• Account• Help• 'yourname'• Platinum Member• Sign Out

So are you a platinum member? If yes, then there is a problem which needs to be resolved by the GR folk.

Thanks Inky. I am most definitely a Platinum member, but the add features option is not in the place you explain it should be, so it does look like GR folk will need to deal with this.

Just in case anyone looks at this post, I didn't actually get to the bottom of the issue, but I did get a reply from the GR support team in less than 48 hrs. They have added the newspaper archives to my subscription FOC, what a nice early Christmas present!
