It looks to me as if the site has been hacked by someone advertising things for sale.

was moderated at one time as it was supposed to be important; no longer, it seems.

It is not moderated as it used to be. The spam threads in the success board were reported last Friday and are still awaiting review. The success board used to receive immediate moderation.

They are taking more than two days to deal with any ordinary post that is sent for review.

Last time I mentioned about that on Facebook I got told they had technical problems.

Why can the Team just not delete them?

They must have details of what was on the original posts and be able to reinstate them as already mentioned they did at one time check them before allowing them to show on Success Board.

it seems that they have also removed several threads on General Chat that were also RR'd on Friday but were still present yesterday

the last one I noticed about 2 weeks ago was still there, with the OP sent for review on Wednesday!
