charles martin was a family relative we know he was born 1857 and died 1931,he married rosa austin in hoxton,they lived at 34 devonshire rd tottenham,they moved to 53 arcadia gardens wood green where charles died in 1931,if anyone has any further information about the family we would be very grateful because we think our research may well be made more interesting many thanks stephen marden

[parents William Martin 1809-1896 and Ann Anstey 1813-1865]

Baptised St Luke's Mddlesex 10 Jun 1860 along with his older brother George (b 19 Sep 1853) His father was a Brass Finisher

The tree says that from 1891-1907 they lived at 75 Murray Street, Hoxton, Middlesex.
The move to Englfield Rd occured by 1909

Thanks for your responses. We have the information from the Ancestry Tree which is pretty comprehansive but one mystery we havent solved is what happened to Charles' wife Rosa (or Rose as she sometimes appears). Charles died in 1931 and she seems to have disappeared around (or just before that date) but we haven't been able to find more about her. Any help, much appreciated. Stephen

According to Tomtom's tree the last confirmed sighting
1929 Age: 71
52 Englefield Road, Hackney, Middlesex,
Charles Maul (1940-1933) and his niece Esther Maul lived at the same address at this time
