Not sure what other info you are looking for as you seem to have things covered .

Have you tried the 1901 irish census

If you alter the title of your thread to include "Ireland" you might attract the attention of someone who has access to Irish records.

The birth will probably be registered in the first quarter of 1882 since the birth happened so late in the year.

Is this the 1911 census? :-

Birth: Apr 19 1883 (19 Apr 1883)

Marriage says she was aged 24, marriage took place April 12th 1908, which also tallies with her age as given in the 1911 census, as has been stated by Shirley, assuming she gave true information.

Saw this infant death, is it the same child as that 1883 Dublin birth that Shirley posted? In which case the birth is not your relative.

Hello Kucinta
many years ago I ordered the birth cert of Mary Christina from Dublin and then also recieved the death cert for the above child -so was able to rule this Mary out.

so, she may have adopted the middle initial C for some reason .......

....... maybe to separate herself from all the other Mary Hughes

Just as my father-i-l adopted his mother's maiden name as a second name when eh was about 40 because there were several others with the same first name and surname ................... you won't find him anywhere with the second name or initial before that!

They don't make it easy!!!
