Member Since: October 2008 Posts: 43 Send Message	I have come across this marriage on freebmd Marriages Dec 1912 PHILLIPS William Billinghurst Houghton 10a 1008 no spouse entered yet. This could possibly be my second cousin William who was a single 29 year old coal miner in Houghton le Spring in 1911. Any connections to the Billinghirst family who know this marriage? 	Dianne The way GR works is for you to Search All Trees, and see if anyone has either of these people there. You are very unlikely to get any help by someone "passing by" ........... we think that much less that 1% of the 14 million members actually use the Boards. It's probably in the low hundreds! Go to Search at the top click on Search All Trees If you do get a match, send a pm (private message) to the tree owner. GR will send them an email to say there is a message waiting Then you have to trust that they still have the same email address that GR has on file they are still interested they have not died or become incapacitated. You can check to see if they have opened your message by checking back to Sent Messages in Messages ...... ....... if there is a green envelope to the left of the person's name they have not. opened it. If there is no envelope, they have opened the message and you can but wait to see if they respond.

There are a couple of Billinghurst researches on GR but they don't have any information either. So many of my Phillips seem to lead to 'dead ends' but as only 1 of the family emigrated, trying to contact living relatives in the UK [who are interested] is hard. Di
