Need help with search for family living in Scotland possibly Glasgow area as he played football for Partick Thistle at this time.

They had a family of 12 children I can only find Janet's birth, unsure ages of others.

He is in Liverpool in 1939

His probate is 1949. Can't copy it over by says his effects went to his wife Elizabeth

Lived 19 Bingley Road Anfield died 12 mar 1949 at 107 Rice Lane Liverpool 9

(Rice lane is probably the postal address of the hospital)

Barbara Raisbeck born 1910 isn't coming up on the births so is most likely born in Scotland

You have given me some great leads, I saw the Ancestry trees with children named they did not include any births.I could only find bap of Janet.


I did make contact with one tree owner a gt granddaughter of Alexander's brother she also could not find any living relations of Alex's line.

There is a Liverpool supporter trying to put a headstone on Alex's and older Liverpool players graves, he is buried in unmarked grave in Anfield Liverpool.

Alex Raisbeck was Secretary Manager at Halifax Town when my Uncle was a player there and signed his contract 1933-34 season

Thank you Eringobragh for the link, I thought the grave was unmarked like another Liverpool Player's grave who is being researched from the 1900 era.
