I have just tried to do this but it says "Voucher Code summer16 is not valid for exchange"

Perhaps this is why:

1.You must have a valid ScotlandsPeople user account with existing credits to use the voucher.

I have multiple accounts on SP but just one had existing credits when I entered the code on each of them
( one online acct and 96 start up voucher accts )

I got 20 credits on each..
So long as you have an existing acct the offer is valid.

I also know that others are creating brand new accounts for the purpose and still getting the freebie.

Just discovered that it was a limited offer which has now closed :-( :-( :-(

I have an account which I have not used for some time (not too many Scottish ancestors) but had no credits.
