Does anyone have any information on the Ship Inn, Shad Thames in the 1800's?

I would love to find an old photo or print of the pub. The London bombing maps show it was hit during the war.

thanks for your help. Matilda Beer is my Great Great Grandmother - I have all this info plus more newspaper reports where she had a run in with the law for watering down the ale!

I would love to find a pic of the pub - think I need to trawl the London archives.

I was just hoping that maybe another Genes member has researched the same area. :-)

On the next page of the 1881 census there is another pub called the Crown and Sceptre further along the street. According to Google this has now been demolished but it is something else to search for as any photo of this might also show The Ship Inn.
