Can anyone help with the following family seeking children of

William Robert Hogarth b 1886 died April Q 1957 Bridgwater,Somerset Retired Tea planter. he was married to Esther Lane b 1877 Bedminster,Westbury,Gloucestershire d 1952 High Patch Churchill,Somerset.

Esther could have been born Florence Esther LANE she was in 1901 with her family father John William and siblings.

I cant find Florence/Esther Lane in 1911 census or a marriage or children.

I would like to find names of children younger son Richard Lane Hogarth b 1919 died in1944. cant trace his birth but the information of his parents and his address of Churchill Somerset was on the obituary notice.

Is there a family listed in 1939 register?

Thank you

Yes his Torpedo boat was sunk in Normandy, there is a search for his family members as his sailors whistle has been uncovered and family members are sought so it can be given to them,

As his obit says younger son looks like he had siblings, perhaps family could be at home in Churchill in 1939.

Going on birth date in Safc post of 1869 I have now found a listing of passenger list coming from Bombay India in 1919
Mr W R Hogarth Tea planter age 49
Mrs Hogarth 35
Master P Hogarth son 7
Master R Hogarth son 6 months

This will fit with Richard birth 1919

Thanks for the help looks like he was born in India.

I had incorrect date of death for William Robert should be 1954 address Clifton .
The Probate was granted to Dr Thomas Benjamin Dixon who I have located as his brother in Law, Esther Lane Hogarth's sister Bessie married Dr Dixon.

Thanks again

Thanks for the link Nyx

I have found the Tree Holder and sent her a message, the son of Richard's brother mentioned is the man I hoped to find.

I have emailed the Daily Mirror where the article was printed last week in hope of finding family to return the Richard Hogarths sailors whistle.
