The second man reached into his pocket and pulled out a set of keys. He shook them and they jingled, and he said, "They're bells."

The third man started searching desperately through his pockets and finally pulled out a pair of women's panties.
St. Peter looked at the man with a raised eyebrow and asked, "And just what do those symbolize?"
The man replied, "They're Carol's."

There is an area in Allerton, Liverpool where the properties are subject to long leases, originally granted for 999 years sometime back in the 1930's.

The leases have a clause which forbid the householder to cause any erection to occur on the land without the prior permission of the freeholder.
