Born Peter Harrison Holme on Spalding Moor .

Trying to find my fathers brother who was born October 1934 in Holme on Spalding Moor . Taken away sometime after the birth , and adopted shortly afterwards . Could have connections with the Prickett family from Hull . Anyone from the nearby area with any information as to what happened to him . It would be gratefully appreciated .

Have you put him in your tree, and have you looked to see if he is in anyone's tree on here?

Added:
Is your father, or his parents, in your tree, so that if Peter or his children or grandchildren come looking they can contact you?

Was it just Peter who was adopted, or any other sibling?

Unlikely that anyone reading these boards would have recollections of 1934

Try adding yourself to the national adoption contact register, although I would be surprised if an 80-year old is looking for birth rellies

Have you tried looking for him in search all trees

Your title suggests the surname was Holme...............the insertion of a comma would give the correct info

For anyone unaware, Holme is in East Yorkshire

Joan,

As Gillian is mentioned in one of those postems (for her Father), then surely that is her known family and the fact that there is no postem on Peter shows that he is her unknown family.

Would guess Nicholas is her cousin.

However, she could add a postem to Peter's bmd entry, so that she could be contacted that way.
