Born in 1934 in Northumberland as Jack Dobbs but then adopted

Add his name to your tree, and that of his father & mother (maiden name Vout). If he or a descendent searched the trees on this site, that's the names they'd look for.

If you are a birth relative, have you added your name to the Adoption Contact Register?

One hopes that he is enjoying life at the age of 81. If you were to purchase a copy of his BC you can then use the dob to check for male deaths with the same. It could be a long winded and possibly fruitless task especially as he could be still living!

His mmn was Vout , have you looked for families for both sides of the family's.sometimes family memories are passed on through the family

Albert Vout, Morpeth, 1907, is in Anne's tree on here.

He appears to marry an Agnes Dixon in 1930.
