Find Living Relatives

I am looking for my Father and have found a few details but would appreciate any help you can provide. Here's what I know so far:
Married in Leicester in April 1974, then aged 37 to Pamela Slinger.
The marriage certificate states his occupation as Builder and that he has no middle names, his Father is listed as Frederick Harman. Both he and his Father do not appear to have any middle names. The address listed then was Humberstone Road, Leicester.

Given his age it's highly likely he was married before. Any mention of this on the marriage cert?

Rose, the marriage certificate stated that he had been previously married as you suggested.
I am not sure if the birth year of 1936 is correct now as the marriage certificate states his age as 37 and the marriage was 22nd April 74. The birth record for Alan Harman, Islington suggests quarter 1 in 1936 which would have made him 38 for the wedding unless I'm missing something.

Steven,,there is also a 1936 3rd quarter reg which would be Apr/June,,,,,.but may have been born in March 1936,

perhaps you arent aware that births are given a 42day grace to register a birth,(UK).a register office sends quarterly returns to the GRO of all lif events that they issue certificates for.if someone as a late registering of a birth -ie day 42 and it was a late in the month birth,they may have missed being on the returns so will be entered up on the next one,,,,the certificate will show the actual birth date.

A family member was born late Nov 1935 but appears in Jan/March quarter of 1936.
