Not seeing her birth in England or Wales.

You need to give a possible place of birth if you want help.

No birth in Scotland, either.

Is Marks her maiden name or a married surname?

In England / Wales, there were four girls by the name of Sarah J Marks, and three Sarah Jane Marks, born in the 1960's (none in the 50's), but none of them had a brother Stephen, as far as I can see.

I asked OP to return to Living Relatives but received a PM stating that Sarah Jane Marks was born in the East End of London

There's a Sara J Marks born 1949 who looks to have younger brothers born in the East End.

Rose, there's a marriage though in E Ham that might account for some of those Marks/Gibson children ?

More info needed from OP's friend. :-)

There is a Marks/Gibson marriage in Shardlow in 1947, and a Marks/Gibson marriage in East Ham in 1950, so unrelated families, surely?
