I have recently found out that my grandad had a love child. She was adopted in 1983. So she would be my auntie. My grandad has passed away, and rumour has it that her biological mother has also passed. I am concerned that this lady may not know any blood relatives at all. I have information, her full name and mothers details. Any information or advice anyone can give me to find her will be much appreciated. Thank you.

If she was adopted then she would have a new family so may not be interested in her roots

You could add your name to the adoption contact register so if she goes looking your info would be passed to her

Unless you know her new name then there's no route to finding her

You could also add her to your tree on here so if she searches on genes she has your contact
