For the record, she was Rosalind A Naylor.

Do you have her birth certificate? That might show if she were subsequently adopted, although that might depend how old she was at the time.

If it does turn out that she was adopted, add your and her name to the Adoption Contact Register
https://www.gov.uk/adoption-records/the-adoption-contact-register

Might it have been Mason's Orphanage, Erdington, Birmingham?
The following has a link to a facebook page you might consider posting on

http://www.formerchildrenshomes.org.uk/josiah_mason.html

http://www.childrenshomes.org.uk/BirminghamMason/
tells you where to find surviving records

Are you in contact with the other people who have her in their trees? If not, search all members trees - top right under 'Search' and send them a message.
The Rosalind listed as being born in Gravesend, is probably a different person from Kent

If none work out, you could always add a Pos'em against her birth entry on Freebmd. Say something along the lines of Birth family (or your relationship) would welcome contact, and leave a generic email address which isn't linked to your broadband provider.

Have you added to Missing People sites such as Missing You?
