As nearly 70% of WW1 service records were destroyed in WW2 bombing, his may be amongst them

The medal cards normally show any middle initial. On that basis neither of the RAMC are necessarily correct. :-(

Can you tell me how you got the connection between your 2 finds .
I am still hitting a brick was with Harry . Army no. 16886 was not born in Romford . I know for sure Harry was and your info being right
