From Wales. He was in the British Army with my Dad in Saudi Arabia at the end of the war. Presume he was also a radio operator. My Dad's biggest regret was not getting his address and keeping in touch when they came back to England. Of course he didn't have a phone, so they would have needed to write. My Dad is 88 and I wonder if Nicholas Childs is still alive too?

There are over 100 listed on electoral registers which include any with middle initial of N

The Royal British Legion have Lost Trails online for searching for ex service colleagues.
