Hi, is it possible to find service records for a private in the Coldstream Guards?

The first husband, William (Henry) WESTCOTT, of my g grandmother served from about 1863 to 1872 when he was discharged for being of "Very Bad Character" :-0

Have you looked at National Archives to see if they show any records
