Fleet Air Arm

My father served in the fleet air arm during the 2nd ww he was a petty officer and was a welder ,he was based in what was Ceylon for part of the time,he was award the medals that men that served overseas got apart from this I don't know where to look nothing has popped up .

WW2 service records are still with the MOD and are not online. Have a look here to see how to go about ordering your father's service records. They will cost £30 and can take some months to arrive:-

You might find something in R Navy records instead of looking for dedicated Fleet air arm records
