	Welcome to the boards Margaret. Are you talking about viewing your tree or viewing the list of ancestors? You should get the full tree if you click on Full, and a full list of ancestors if you click on List. If that isn't working then contact support. [email protected]

Member Since: March 2003 Posts: 7 819 Send Message	Yes, it sounds like Margaret is looking at Immediate Family View. In that view clicking on the top most ancestor will move up a generation. Full View is ok if you have a relatively small tree, otherwise try Pedigree view, which goes from left to right or Ancestors which goes upwards. Again, you can easily expand to see several more generations.
