Would it be possible to add a description to the titles of the other Boards (as there is on this Board) to indicate what each board is intended for? This not the only thread were a new poster has been confused:

FLR and Genealogy Chat have info about their intended purpose - not that a lot of people take a blind bit of notice.

One member who has been on GR since Adam was a lad always posts her lookup requests on genealogy chat

Find Ancestors hardly needs elucidating...........

Some of the worst offenders for posting on the wrong boards are long standing members who do it knowingly, and get uppity if someone dares to mention it to them.

But yes, for consistency across the site it would be helpful if all the boards had clear and prominent guidelines as to their intended usage.

It would also be useful, if as promised, thread posted on the wrong board were transferred to the correct one.
