Mother Ada Bell. Della Married George Hendry 1932. Lived in Harrogete. Disappeared 1946 never heard or seen by family again. Would like to find out where she went after leaving her family. Can any one help?

I noticed an incoming trip to the UK in 1912, so presumably her mother settled here.... any chances Della could have returned after her marriage and children??

Many thanks for replying.
I am not sure about the birth in Pontiprid as I have the Marriage cert. 18 Oct 1910 Ada Bell to Allan Moses Powell Hamilton Wentworth Oatario Canada.
Then returning to the UK without Allan but with Hilda D Infant and Della M child 2yrs. I know Ada divorced Allan and married Frederick Ernest Young in Darlington 17 Feb 1926. Della married George Alexander Hendry
7 Feb 1931 Knaresborough he was born Edinburgh Scotland. His father born Fraserburgh Scotland as were many other family members.
Ada and Allan had three children Hilda D, Della Mae and Muriel I know nothing of any of the sisters. There were half brothers from Fredrick's first marriage. Ada and Frederick had one child Iris M.
Unconfirmed :Ada Bell living Olham Lancashire with brothers and sisters mother Sarah A and father Joseph 1891 English Census.
Thank you again but am no further on with finding Della or her sisters.

Chances are that Della died here and the details have not been transcribed yet.

So you could either wait for the transcribed death which is rumoured to be available in a matter of a few months or you could look through the indexes

You could also check with the local library and they could run an ER search for you.

I have PM'd you the births of her probable children so you could try and make contact with them who may have a 'bigger' story for you!

I'm affraid thats it as I dont have a magic wand.

PS; You say the last that was heard of Della was 1946, where have you got this info from and where was she? Her last child that I can see was born in 1941?

Also theres always the chance of them going back to George's Scotland?

Your lead on Muriel Powell I have now verified as a daughter of Della And Alan Powell she died in 1927.
Also I have verified Murial's birth as being born 18 Nov 1915 in Darlington
to Della and Alan.

So great leads but no closer to Della Mae yet but all helps with the picture.
