I was asking if any one was adopted and the birth Mothers address was 96 Vine Lane, as I wanted to know if it was a Mother and baby home.

So the baby was born in Wales = is there any reason you know for a connection?

If the mothers address was given I dont think you are really looking for a mother and baby home in Hillingdon, it would seem more likely her home or if she were in service, the home of her employers. Have you done a google earth search for that addy, it looks a rather nice road.

The year of the Birth was 1945, on the birth cert it states age 24, but all certs I have bought do not tally with her.

Jane
If the mother was over 21 you could check the electoral registers as long as it wasn't the war years.
There weren't any registers for 1940-1944.
Even if she wasn't over 21 it might give you some idea who was living in the house.

The child was born in a Hospital in Wales, but address of birth Mother was given as 96 Bine Lane (should be Vine Lane) Hillingdon Middlesex

Kay????

Often these places were just given as an address on a birth certificate, and not place named....but a Kellys from the time which maybe at a local library with a reference section perhaps will have the address under its *home* name.
