Groveham Any record of this name? My father Norman was born in Liverpool in 1921 and had a younger sister. His father was george but there are a number in liverpool in 1891 census. All appear to be connected to a bakery so must be related. Any information regarding Charles T Groveham born c. 1852 in Lancashire, his wife Mary born c.1852 in Leeds or their children-George (born Bradford), Thomas, Charles and Albert. They lived in Bootle. Also Albert E Groveham (another baker) married to Martha with children - George R, Albert E, Alice Jessie and Harry Ernest from Walton on the Hill, Liverpool (181 County Road). They later moved to Union Street where george and Albert ran a bakery. Alice beacme a cook. The children in both families are born either in Liverpool or Bradford. What is the connection to Bradford? Another family in Everton Maud, George, Mary and Joseph (apparently without parents) are noted in the 1891 census. Joseph ends up living with sister Maud who married and became Alice Maud Monaught in Eton St, Walton. He was an engine fitter. Any info on this name or connections to william groveham of Virginia, USA 1782 (King William County)? I believe there are still some other grovehams out there although I've never found any. Can anyone help? Thanks! Pam Groveham
