Member Since: May 2003 Posts: 2 Send Message	My grandfather was called Arthur Claxton. He married my grandmother Alice and had 5 daughters and one son. The only information we have about my grandfather is that he came from a sea area (possibly Whitby) and had a passion for boats. He was probably born in about 1890 and died around 1961. Apparently there was a brother called George, who is probably still in the Whitby area, and a sister who lives in Leicester. Born in Maltby, he was a collier. Does anyone know anything else about his family and past?
