my mothers maiden name was mulligan and was born at the coastguard station at langney,westham,sussex where her father william bernard mulligan was the officer in charge.his wife's maiden name was furlong and according to the 1891 cencus it read william bernard mulligan born in liverpool in 1855,kate agnes mulligan born in wexford southern ireland in 1863,alice mulligan born in wexford 1885,william mulligan also born in wexford in 1889, catherine mulligan(my mother) born in westham sussex in 1888, alfred augustus mulligan newly born in westham sussex in 1891. also another child was born after the sencus.his name was daniel mulligan mulligan also born at eastbourne sussex on the 17th october 1892 he died on war service while serving in the royal navy aboard H M S Vivid onthe 3rd of june 1916.This is all I know of my mothers family.if there is anyone who can help me who can cast any light on to my family no matter how small i would be more than grateful.
