William Bacon born between 1590-1610: William Bacon had a brother named, Andrew (and probably other siblings as well). Andrew emigrated to the US around 1630 and was one of the founding fathers of Hartford, CT and Hadly, MA. Andrew was married twice to: Mary Sherman and Elizabeth Morrice Stanley. William had a son named, Nathaniel. Nathaniel emigrated to the US around 1649/50. He was an early settler in Middletown, CT. Nathaniel married Ann Miller. Andrew is said to have been from Bramford, Hertfordshire, England. William is said to have been from Stretton, Rutlandshire, England. I am looking for their parents and their ancestry. There was a William Bacon who emigrated to the US from Stretton, Rutlandshire, England and was the father of Nathaniel Bacon of Barnstable, Barnstable, Massachuttsetts. But, he is not the same William I am looking to find. At least, I should say, I don't think he is. My William Bacon supposedly died around 1630/32. According to Sherman Family records, Andrew's father (and therefore, William's) was Thomas Bacon and his mother was Lore Clench--but I cannot verify that info. If any of these people are your ancestors--I would appreciate any info you could provide. Thank you.
