Trying to find Bailie

Aideen Report 5 Jul 2003 12:14

My name is Aideen Mooney, neé Angela Rosemary Bailie on 19th January, 1971. I am looking for my birth mother, who, according to my records, is called Georgiana Dorothy Bailie. From what I have been told, she lived in Bromley in Kent, the daughter of the director of an ice-cream factory. She had one sister and her mother died suddenly in May 1970. On finding out that she was pregnant with me, she moved to Newtownards, Co. Down in Northern Ireland until I was born. I believe her address at that time to have been 1 Talbot Street. I understand that she went back to Bromley in Kent after this time, but having conducted other searches, there are 2 addresses for a G.D. Bailey, one in Cullybackey, Co. Antrim and one in Belfast - BT13. I am getting married in September 2003 and although I adore my family and my parents, I just wanted to make contact with Georgiana to say thank you for giving me to the best family in the world ever. I respect what she had to do at the time and just want to get in touch. If anyone knows anything about Ms Bailie, then please, please let me know. Many, many thanks! Aideen
