Trying to find living brothers/sisters/etc. of Sarah Jane Baker, known as Sally. Had three children then married in 1957 to Arthur Langton. One sister known to live in London, name of Megan (sp?). Sally passed away in 2004 at the age of 92. Born 1912 in Bedwellty, Monmouthshire, Wales to a large family. Father was a miner.Sally was a nurse in WW2, fiery temper and even more fiery red hair which she never lost. Sharp as a tack until the end. Sadly, Sally's daughter Pauline fell out with the family around 1970ish after the death of her adoptive father, Arthur Langton. Her half brothers are Ian (Laurence) and John Langton. Pauline married several times, don't think she ever had children. Would be mid 60's to early 70's now. Would like to hear from her and know she's ok. Her brother Ian passed away 2002 and brother John is retired now. Realised this could be a bit of a Pandora's box, and can only speak for myself in terms of wanting to make contact but Pauline if you're out there your half-niece would like to at least know everthing's ok and you're well cared for. Would like to add your branch to family tree. Does anyone have any information? UPDATE 13/10/2006: Father now known to be Clement Baker, married Laura Owen. Was a colliery timberman and lived on Perks Lane in Nantyglo, Bedwellty. |
