I am trying to find RELATIVES of PETER BARR born 27/05/1920 and lived at 307 Sutton Rd, St. Helens. He was in the RAF and died during the second world war, 26/08/1944 in France. His father was called Samuel Barr and I think he was a miner. Peter was married to Elsie Parr at St. John's, Ravenhead, St. Helens in 1941. They had one child, Michael Graham Barr (my father) born at 72 Millbrook Lane, St. Helens, 23rd September 1943. My grandmother (Elsie Parr) re-married after the war to Arthur Ashall and my father later changed his name to Michael Ashall. Contact was lost with the Barr family when my grandmother re-married.
