He was married to Emily Swinnerton (1868-1948) and they had 3 children, Frank Barrington (1892-1958), Harold Barrington (1894-1939) and James Barrington (c1896). I understand they may have been from the Manchester area. Let me know if you have any connection so I can extend my tree.
