Member Since: May 2003 Posts: 2 Send Message	Any info on Bates name from Wiggenhall st Mary Magdalen, Norfolk, I know they were there from about 1800 and were still there in 1901 census, Robert was born there he says in 1851, census in about 1814 some of the family went to Australia mid 1860's, another branch ran a pub in the village up till as late as 1946? (FEN END PUB)my side left to come to london 1n 1860's any info would be wonderful as have hit a brick wall. Cheers Phil.
