Trying to find any info on an Anna Bidgood of Halberton Devon.She married a Stephen Besley who died before 1861. Anna was then widowed and living with her father Abraham Bidgood and her son William Besley.

When was she born?

Ive looked under Bidgood, Bedgood and Besley. she was born 1827 roughly.

I can only find Anna living with her father and son William!!! Cant seem to find a William Besley with a wife Anna in any census!! I have 1871 & 1881 census info.

Have you checked for deaths for William between his marriage (1854) and the 1861 census?

So Juding by that info they wouldnt be on a census together anyway.

It does look like Anna living with son William and father Abraham Bidgood, is the widow of William...not Stephen Besley.

Might be worth getting her son's birth cert. to verify which one was his father?

This is the only birth i can find close to 1855, for the son william.

There isn't a birth reg. to match William born in Tiverton and he's not showing up on the 1861 census.

No your right he was born in Halberton i think, Tiverton is where the Grandfather Abraham lived. There is a death for william though.
