I am looking for a Frederick John Bond born 1912 in Ashford Middlesex. I lloking for any brothers and sisters and his parents. I know that he married Hilda Higgins but that is all.

Then look for births with matching names (for siblings) - and the possible marriage of his parents

Let's start with an obvious question

If ALL you know is his marriage - how can you possibly state where and when he was born?

Did he really get married at around 17 years of age?

what was his fathers name? Witness names on marriage cert?

Death cert info is only 'as known' to the person registering the death

When did he die?

i believe he was 18 when he married

Does the death cert give an actual DOB?

There is no possible birth in the Staines reg'n district (which covers Ashford)

Perhaps the person registering the death thought he'd been born there because that was where he married.

I think you will have to get the marriage cert to make any progress

all that i have is a death certificate cant seem to find his marriage certificate. I am just going by what people in the family remember and have said but mnearly all the older people in the family have died so there is no one to confirm or deny the stories.

Marriage certs don't give birthplace info - but they do state father's name and occupation (if known)

The witnesses' names are often useful also.............

hi flick just a quick update to say that Frederick Bond was born in enfield and not ashford has i first thought.
