My father was Raymond Jack Bresnan (known as John) originally from Reading. He was born in 1918, his father was Hugh Michael Fredrick Bresnan, originally from County Cork Ireland. He married Una (known as Dolly) Holmes. They had 7 children, Keith, Winnie(Una), Bridget, Sheila, Patrick and Beryl and my father, who was known as Jack. I believe Dolly's parents ran a pub in Theale. |
