Member Since: October 2004 Posts: 8 Send Message	I am looking for descendants of the Bright family who were living at 221 St.John Street,Clerkenwell,London in 1913.They were: Walter Edward Bright my grandfather unsure as to birthplace and date,his wife(if they were married) Mary Ellen Bright nee McGrann,she may have been born in Ireland...they had 3 daughters Kathleen Mary Bright(Kitty)my mum born 1913 d 1981 Agnes Bright born 1916 died c1930 Ellen Bright(Nellie) born 1923 could still be living Mary died when Ellen was born and the 3 girls were shipped off to an orphanage John Grooms,Clacton-on Sea,Essex...Agnes died there and when Kathleen was 15/16 she left the orphanage and went to live with her father in Birmingham ,I believe he had relatives there,their surname Jackson..Ellen was still in care and mum saw her when she was about 17/18 in 1940/41,and then she disappeared.Information about any members of mum's family would be appreciated as she had very little information herself,her father apparently was in the army at some stage,and what happened to Ellen the youngest sister,and of course my grandmother Mary where in Ireland was she born?If indeed it was Ireland, it could after further research be the West Midlands,Birmingham.
