i have always been puzzled as to the origination of the surname busfield. my father was sure the name was traced by him back to guisely in yorkshire to the year 1850. could it be a derivation of bushfield i won der. can anyone help me with this as i am proud of my yorkshire roots and would like to be able to inform my sons and daughters. james david busfield |
