My Great,Great ,Great, Great Grandfather was Michael Carnie. He was born c. 1820-1840 and married Janet Coyle, both of whom cannot be found on any census info. He was a soldier. He had approximately three children Joseph, Mary and Charles - I think they were all born in Glasgow (Bridge Street, Tradeston) but I've no idea where Michael was born or married. If you have any info on the above please contact me and we can share family history details. Their names often interchanged with Carnie, Cairnie, Cairney and Kearney. |
