Trying to find Caulton

My paternal great grandfather was Obed Caulton (born March 1858). His father was William Caulton born c. 1832-35 (I have two dates). William was married twice and my 2 times great grandmother was Catherine Craddock. William had two children by Catherine, Obed and Abel and two sons by his second wife, Mary. I am desperately trying to find out more about William and his father, also William. My father tells me that Obed always told him that the family originally came from Derbyshire and it is this connection I am particularly interested in pursuing. Any help on any Caulton would be very welcome. |
