Hi im trying to fing relatives or any information on my Great Granfather Charles Knox who married Joanna Higgins in Salford around 1901- 1902 ,i like to find where they were both born and if i could find names of Charles Siblings.

Just have to know how and where to look. I have a subscription to Ancestry Uk, but you can get information from a couple of free sites

www.freebmd.org.uk and
www.familysearch.org

Don't forget to get birth and marriage certificates to back up all of your information.

You can do this online at www.gro.gov.uk

The certificates cost 7 pounds each and they take a couple of weeks to be mailed to you.

Ive got to take it all in and the bits about stone artists are really an eye opener that part is a shock it gives me so many leads .
