I'm looking for details of ALICE MAY who married William Colborn on 10/9/1892 at Reading Register Office. She gives her father's name as James and occupation as 'farmer'. At the time of the marriage she was living at 1 Coley Street, Reading. She died on 3rd February 1898 aged 42. She had a daughter Alice who is shown as aged 8 on the 1901 census living with her father William Colborn and her Grandmother Ann Colborn (nee Nation) at New Cottages Sulhamstead Bannister. Another daughter Ivy May Colbourn is shown as living with her Aunt and Uncle, William and Martha Bye (nee Colborn) near Benham's Farm, Sulhamstead Bannister. I would welcome any information that anyone might have about ALICE MAY or her ancestors and descendants. |
