Member Since: June 2003 Posts: 0 Send Message	Sarah Collett. Seeking information on my gr grandmother. According to the 1881 Census she was 34 at the time, but it also lists a daughter age 18 so unsure if 34 is correct. The information I have is that Sarah's mother was "Lady" Collett. Sarah may have been a nurse during a war (?) and met William Brooks who was in the military. She married him and her parents felt she married beneath her social position and disowned her. No one in the family can trace any information on Sarah Collett or William Brooks past the 1881 Census. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
