His father was Frederick Cottrell (spelt many different ways) and his mother was Ada Elizabeth Cottrell nee Steer. I have discovered that he had several brothers and sisters: James William b.1894/5 Charles Ernest b.1901 Mary Ann Elizabeth b.1905 Matilda Esther b. 1908 Rose Florence Margaret b.1912 Thomas John b.1914 All my fathers siblings were born around Dartford and Gravesend. I would love any information on this family
